Suzan Ayscough is a bilingual media expert specializing in Canadian moving pictures. Currently based in Toronto as Playback’s Editor Special Reports, Suzan has worked in media as everything from a frontline reporter and film critic for Daily Variety in Los Angeles to a Montreal TV producer of the Heartland pilot for the ongoing CBC series. She has been VP communications for Alliance Communications and head of communications, government affairs and festivals for Telefilm Canada. Suzan also co-authored the book Hollywood North: Creating the Canadian Motion Picture Industry and is a founding member of the Canadian Film & Television Hall of Fame. Suzan graduated with honors from the film studies program at Carleton University.
