Munro Ferguson was born in New York, 1960. He has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Toronto. Since then he's been an experimental filmmaker, a syndicated cartoonist, a graphic designer, NFB animator and director. He's been working stereoscopically since 1995 when he first participated in the development of SANDDE™, a 3D hand-drawn animation system, for IMAX® Corp. Since then he's been involved in the creation of several stereoscopic films: Paint Misbehavin’ (Animation, Art Director), Falling in Love Again (Director), June (Director) and Facing Champlain (Animation Director). Currently, he is developing Neuropolis, a 3D film about the brain, a collaboration of the Montreal Neurological Institute and the NFB.
