Ian is a 16-year veteran advocate, entrepreneur, and producer in the interactive digital media industry and is currently the President & CEO of Interactive Ontario (io), a member-based industry trade association representing over 200 companies in the province of Ontario, Canada. At io, Ian founded GameON: Finance, a financial forum for the video games industry, IN: the Interactive Exchange, Canada’s largest annual cross-platform business event and the upcoming INplay 2010 conference on kids and interactivity. Ian is also President, Chair, and a founding Director of the Canadian Interactive Alliance / l’Alliance interactive canadienne, the voice of Canada’s regional interactive media trade associations representing over 1000 companies from coast to coast.
