Daniel Baird
Daniel Baird was educated at the University of California, Los Angeles, Princeton University, and the University of California, Berkeley. He is one of the founding editors of The Brooklyn Rail, a monthly magazine of art, culture, and politics, and from 2000 to 2005 he was a the Arts Editor, art columnist, a feature writer on art, books, and ideas. From 2005 to 2009 he was a Senior Editor and frequent contributor to The Walrus magazine in Toronto. He is currently a Toronto-based freelance writer and regular contributor on contemporary culture, life, and ideas to The Globe & Mail, Canadian Art, and The Walrus. He is currently researching a book on Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome and addiction in returning soldiers.
