Catherine Tait is President of Duopoly, an independent production company based in New York City that also provides business development services to the entertainment industries in Canada and the United States. Currently in Canada, Tait is Executive Producer of PURE PWNAGE for Showcase, a comedy series about a group of videogamers based on the Internet hit www.purepwnage.com.. A new media evangelist, Tait founded iThentic.com, an online and mobile content company, in 2006. iThentic (with partners Smiley Guy Studios and E1) develops and produces original content for new platforms. Prior to Duopoly, Tait was President and Chief Operating Officer of Salter Street Films and previously Executive Director of the Independent Feature Project in New York. Tait has served as a Director of CHUM, ALIANT and currently serves on the Canadian Board of E1.
