Prime Time in Ottawa

 

The Canadian Film and Television Production Association (CFTPA) will host its popular annual national conference Prime Time in Ottawa for the Canadian film, television and interactive media industry from February 18 to 20, 2009 at the Westin Ottawa.

 


In its 19th year, Prime Time will explore timely topics related to the current state of the production industry, maintaining a competitive edge, exploring emerging markets, the upcoming broadcast licence renewals, the new distribution landscape for theatrical films, children’s and documentary programming and ensuring a Canadian presence in new media, among more exciting panels. The conference will kick-off with the inaugural CFTPA Indie Awards Ceremony. Building on Prime Time’s past successes, once again the conference promises to be the film, television and interactive media industry’s premiere networking event.

Prime Time has become a must-attend industry event with over 600 delegates from all regions of the country. Sold-out each year, this event plays host a broad cross-section of the production industry, as well as broadcasters, distributors, exhibitors, cable and satellite providers, government officials and the national media.
