Ottawa, November 19, 2009 –The Canadian Film and Television Production Association (CFTPA) is pleased to announce the five successful applicants for its latest program, focused on providing training for new media producers.
Supported by Telefilm, the Telefilm Canada New Media Producers’ Program emphasizes content creation for cross platform, convergent and interactive media projects. On-the-job training is provided by CFTPA-member companies engaged in interactive media production.
“Using new platforms to generate and distribute content is the wave of the future,” says Susanne Vaas, Vice-President of Business Affairs, CFTPA. “We are happy to collaborate with Telefilm Canada on providing training to producers so they may successfully ride this wave.”
