Clarkson to be Keynote Speaker at CFTPA's Prime Time

Telefilm Canada’s incoming executive director Wayne Clarkson will be giving the keynote address at the Canadian Film and Television Production Association's annual Prime Time in Ottawa conference on February 3, 2004.

"Wayne’s name was the one that kept popping up when we asked people in the industry who they wanted to hear from," said Guy Mayson, president and CEO of the CFTPA. "Telefilm is a key player in the industry and everyone wants to know its plans for the future."

Clarkson is well known in the film and television industry with his track record as head of the Canadian Film Centre, OMDC and the Festival of Festivals, now the Toronto International Film Festival.

The CFTPA is a non-profit, trade association representing almost 400 Canadian companies involved in the media content production industry.
