Studio B's Bartleman Joins CFTPA National Board

Vancouver's Chris Bartleman, Studio B Productions, has joined the CFTPA national board of directors. Bartleman is replacing BC rep Lisa Richardson who stepped down in June.

The board is looking forward to working with Bartleman who started Vancouver-based animation company Studio B Productions in 1988 with Blair Peters. They have produced animated television series for several major companies including Walt Disney Television, Nickelodeon, Film Roman, DIC and many others. Studio B also produces three of their own shows, D'Myna Leagues, What About Mimi and Yvon of The Yukon.

The CFTPA is a non-profit, trade association representing almost 400 companies in the Canadian production industry. The association promotes the general interests of Canadian producers by lobbying government on policy matters, negotiating labour agreements, and offering mentorship programs and copyright initiatives.
