New office for CFTPA's Raffoul
The Canadian Film and Television Production Association and The Strategies Group are pleased to announce that Beatrice Raffoul will be joining the Ottawa-based consulting firm, but maintaining her working relationship with the CFTPA. Raffoul has been with the CFTPA since 2000, serving as the association's vice-president, external relations; as of March 3rd she will become senior vice-president at The Strategies Group.
"We are thrilled that Bea will continue to work with us while other organizations benefit from her expertise in government relations," said Elizabeth McDonald, CFTPA president and CEO.
The Strategies Group specializes in business-government relations, strategic counselling, issues management and public policy resolution.
The CFTPA is a non-profit, trade association representing almost 400 companies involved in the Canadian production industry. The association promotes the general interests of Canadian producers by lobbying government on policy matters, negotiating labour agreements, offering mentorship programs and copyright initiatives.
