Membership

Welcome to the CFTPA. Membership in the CFTPA means joining your colleagues in the film, television, and interactive media industry for benefits to your production company and the industry as a whole. Member benefits include collective agreement administrative fee discounts, electronic industry updates, publications, access to the CFTPA Producer Member Health Benefits Plan, access to the National Mentorship Program, hotel and conference discounts, and opportunities to network with industry professionals at regional, national, and international events.

CFTPA members contribute to the industry by informing public policy through CFTPA advocacy, committee work, and industry reports based upon data gathered from our membership and industry partners. Our members have the opportunity to train the next generation of producers, while member producers raise the profile of Canadian content abroad by participation in international co-production events.

CFTPA memberships are annual memberships for Canadian-owned companies and individual producers. Annual fees are determined by company size, type, and location. All members are classified as voting members with the exception of Permittee members. All members are entitled to discounts on administration fees to unions and guilds with the exception of the Service Producer category.
